Off to Orlando next week (Thursday) and was wondering whether I could buy a 1 day ticket to Universal Studios on the gate - according to their website - they only do 2 day 2 park?

You don't have to go to the two parks....the two day ticket is good value if you like some of the rides in both parks....we've done both parks many times in one day...

Can i buy tickets fom park-tickets once in USA either by visiting office or via interweb?

You can buy the park tickets from the office but it is very simple to buy them in advance via the internet, and unlike some sites, park-tickets is very safe and well-respected. Why not book them over the internet and then just pop in and collect them, saving any hassle? You could even pick them up on the way to the parks as the office is in a good position for getting to them.
