favourite Christmas film?

I was looking through our small collection of Christmas films and just wondered what people's favourites were? Is there a film you watch every year? We always used to watch Santa Claus The Movie, every year without fail,but I'm not sure that I would class that as my favourite. Holiday Inn might be my number one, but I can't decide!

Love all the Santa Claus movies but I don't think you can beat It's A Wonderful Life.

At Xmas I like watching all the old black and white films. Have somehow managed to miss /wonderful life - will have to get the DVD. Also like the /wizard of Oz and the Great Escape amongst others

Totally agree! Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without watching this movie... already watched it twice this year. Bought the DVD version this week as we've worn out the video over the years.

I love a lot of the old christmas films but also loved The Holiday which was only released last year[msnsmile] It's on sky next week[clap][clap]

I used to love the old Jacques Tatti films like Mon Oncle and Monsieur Hulot's holiday. They used to be on every year but not seen them for ages!

It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street (although not the original version [msnembarrased]) and The Snowman are all in our collection, and are great too.

I haven't seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - I must look out for that!
