    Parking at Universal

I went in to Universal last month, (just to pick something up from a store) I was shocked at the cost of parking nowadays, $11.
Because I was there for less than an hour, I could claim this back.
BUT, $11 on top of the entry fee?? Shocking!![msneek]

I suppose it must seem a lot, when you have paid your entrance, but having paid over £5 for a couple of hours in Reading recently it seems pretty reasonable when you can stay there for the whole day and the evening.

Guess they wouldn't ask for this amount if they didn't know that people would pay it.

What really makes my blood boil is their charge for express passes, not that IS a rip off!

I recently visited my town centre by car (not something I have done for a long while) and was astounded to find that the charges in an NCP car park were 80p per 15 minutes (£3.20 per hour)

And before you ask, no, I don't live in London !!!

Compared to that, all day and evening parking at Universal for $11 / £5.50 seems like a bargain to me !

It certainly is when you think how many hours you can be there! I would need a mortgage to park in Reading all day! [msnwink]

I went to Dublin for the day last month with the kids and we parked our car at Leeds Bradford airport short stay car park. It cost £19 for just over 12 hours parking. It cost me less for the 3 flights than the parking.
