Well I have finally booked for us to go to Florida next July, I have managed to book miles plus money fairs for the three of us, I will have to take Adam out on the last day of term, but never mind it can't be helped, as many of you know (thanks for your messages) this has been a difficult few weeks for us as a family, as my wonderful Mum died suddenly, and I have found it difficult to cope, let alone think of Christmas and booking holidays, at least we will have something to look forward to, we go on the 18th July till the 17th August.

Fab news Jacquie[clap][clap][clap] I hope you have a wonderful time! I won't see you at the airport this time though as I have just booked our tickets this morning miles plus money too but on 18 April for us[msnsmile]

Jacqueline, its good you have done this, it does give you something good and positive to aim for, i know how hard it is for you from our chats but you mustnt expect to much from yourself to soon, just wish you were there when we are we go august 22nd wouldve been great to have finally met after all our girly chats...... still maybe another time?[grouphug] always in my thoughts J xx

Liesa we will meet up one day I am sure.
I will have to think what we are going to do when we are out there and where we will stay, but that will come later, I have dithered over flights long enough - cut it fine as there were only 4 miles plus money seats left, I had kept hanging on to see if they came up for later in July and coming back later in August, one said they hadn't been released and today one said they had and were all gone, so thought it was best to get them as Virgin have been putting up the prices for the flights almost daily. We had the voucher from the air tax last year but guess what - you can't use them on miles plus money flights, but had already guessed that, they were quick enough to charge it on miles plus money flights!

It's a lovely feeling once you have your flights booked, it's another step nearer to a wonderful Florida vacation. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but as others have said it will be good for you to have something positive to concentrate on[grouphug]

Can I ask what Miles for cash seats are? I am accumulating Virgin airmiles at the moment.

You use miles accumulated from Virgin credit cards and frequant flyers to reduce the price of the flight, I think I am right in saying they only allocate so many seats to this, thus having to keep checking on line or ringing to see what is available.
