Under 25 Drivers?

Please could someone help? I am trying to find out how much extra the supplement is for drivers under 25. Your help would be appreciated. All the info I can see is it is payable on arrival but would be good to know before they arrive in Florida.

The rate is approx $20 - $25 per day per under age 25 driver (other than U-Save who only make a surcharge for drivers age 19 and 20. Please see http://www.uscarhire.co.uk/faq-local-charges.aspx#9

Thanks Roger. U-Save isn't apart of OV is it?

Sue, U-Save is part of OV and my daughter used them very successfully last year.

Ellie how do you get a quote for U-Save? All I can see when I look for a quote is Dollar, Alamo and Budget. Hope it isn't obvious and that I am not appearing to be thick.

You are not at all thick, Sue, I had problems finding it myself the last time.

Go to the home page and in the orange box on the right hand side and just below the box for Quote box you will find this:

Age 21-24? Click for car hire with no surcharges

It was brilliant - my daughter hired a car last Christmas and it was great not to have to pay surcharges.

Ellie thanks for your help. I still struggled as it looks like it has changed, it was more by luck than judgement that I found out how to get there to the under 25's u-save.

How I got there was by going to the OV front page, clicked on car hire then got my quote for the dates, car etc and then to get to the u-save I clicked on the car in the top left corner of the page and it then came up with the link under the quote me, not very obvious to anyone who doesn't know UNLESS I am doing something wrong. Did you still get the points from the referral by using u-save?

My sons have used them through OV a few times now, excellent service as always.

Sue, on the homepage of www.uscarhire.co.uk there is an obvious link immediately below the button that says 'Quote me' within the quote panel. It says 'Age 21-24? Click for car hire with no surcharges'
