    I'm not sure why that is happening as the way the snow works, it should have a very negligible effect on your computer speed. It certainly should not make it slow down noticeably.

    I have an option to switch it off on a user by user basis on my to-do list but you will have to bear with me as we're busy prepping the sites for the new year at the moment.

    Hello, Thankyou for adding the 'switch off snow' button. This is great because it turns off all the 'motion' avatars as well now which bothers many of the computers and it's users. After the season is ended, it would be nice if you could leave this option on maybe under another name.

    Hmm - I think that is just a co-incidence as the code behind the new menu options is only related to the snow and should not affect any other part of the forums.
