No - that is just the cookies on your PC getting mixed up. If you delete all cookies and re-start the computer you should be ok again.

I have a pop up blocker so did not get this, but when doing a post last nigth it took me to one of the villas on one of the sites, and just now I tried to get back to active topics and it took me to my villa, so something strange is still going on?

Thanks John, I will do that. Mind you, everytime I start this computer it comes up with a message about window defender. I asked about it on her once before and several other people have this same message come up. I was going to look into it more, but have never had the time. If anyone has any ideas about it plaese let me know as it takes ages to restart the laptop, so I only do it about once a week.
You did the right thing. I would recommend you run a virus scan anyway as it won't hurt and it's better to be safe than sorry.

As far as we can tell, the problem only happens when using Internet Explorer and only if certain Microsoft security patches are not applied on that PC.

I know it's just my lack of computer knowledge but can anyone explain why it has only happened to some? Thanks.

John can you or anyone else tell me if the pop up looked like or imitated a active x pop up saying allow active x to run?
I'm not sure as I don't use IE so did not see the pop-up at all. Hopefully someone else can describe it for you.
I'd recommend running a virus scan with up to date virus signatures as a matter of course anyway.

Mizzy mine was picked up by my virus scanner and kept shutting down IE.
