I think you are lucky to be in a German hospital as you stand far more chance of not picking up MRSA or any other bug our hospitals are so fond of giving out free of charge!

Well done, you have been very brave!! I had the same problem 23 years ago JUSt as I was getting married -in those days, no keyhole, so I have a massive 'zip' for a war wound and was in hospital over two weeks - how things have progressed!!
Anyway, you have the worst over, and can now look forward ot FLorida and Xmas

So sorry to hear of your ordeal as I, too, have had the keyhole surgery for gall bladder removal. I can tell that the worst is over and the best way to recovery is rest and relaxation. I went on holiday to France for a fortnight the week after my op and was fine. In fact the rest and sunshine did me the world of good, so I sincerely hope that you get to Florida. The weather here in Florida at the moment is lovely high 70's and up so I hope it stays that way for you. Sadly we go home in two days[msncry]
