    Best disney ticket for us

    Hi All,

Well the appartment (NY) villa and flights are booked for august next year so its now down to the entertainment!

I've been to disney before (about 2 years ago) although i had just met my current partner, I went with a friend. She's never been so i'm really looking forward to taking her.

    NOW, i'm looking at tickets.

i'm thinking of going to Discovery Cove and getting the top ticket which entitles you to Sea World, Aquatica & Busch Gardens for £175 only £25 more than the standard ticket.

    A 2 park / 7 day pass to Universal £55

As we will be having a day at aquatica i won't need the other disney water parks and downtown etc. So I was thinking of getting a 6 + 1 FREE Day Base Ticket with hopping for £133 http://www.park-tickets.com/disney-p...-hopper14.aspx I like the freedom of the hopper tickets, means you can go to park a for the daytime and park b for the evening.

OR if we opt not to do the Discovery Cove i could purchase a new Orlando Flex Ticket Plus, like the 5 park but with aquatica for £139

If we opt for the first choices the dolphin swim will cost £91

What do you guys think? Can you come up with any other alternatives?

are you just going for two weeks? if so i'd be careful not to overbuy tickets as you could find you do not get the full value from them (especially so with those tickets that are just aimed at the uk market)

discovery cove is fab and i would highly recommend it, food and drink wise everything is included from the moment you step into the park, i would budget extra for photos and the dvd of your swim, we paid around $160 in march 05 but we did buy lots for that

the link above is great for tickets and comes highly recommended [clap]

When we did Discovery Cove, we paid extra for valet parking, but this also gave you free premium parking at Busch and Sea World, especially great if you want to pop in and do one or two rides then go somewhere else as you park in the rows right next to the park, so no waiting for transport to the gate
Maybe you should up the Disney tickets to the 'never expire' option so you don't have the presure to go to the parks every day. The 7 day Universal (if I remember correctly) is about the same price as a normal 2 day ticket so a great deal, but if you want great rides, you have those at Busch, so maybe you could leave that park till next time.

Mmm, that parking sounds interesting Shirley.

Trying to get as much done as possible on this trip as I don't know when we will be able to retun to disney and we have lots of other places we want to see!

I was looking at the 5 day disney tickets, but they don't work out that much cheaper than the 6 / 7 day.
