Tag watch batteries

For any of you that have Tag watches and have had to pay £130 to get new bateries fitted, my son bought one here in Orlando 2 years ago and needed a new battery fitted, he was quoted £130 from the UK and it would take 6 weeks as they send them to Switzerland. We went into the Tag shop in the Premier outlets and they told us to go to Mayors in the Florida Mall. We went up to there today , it is a very upmarket place with Tag, Rolex etc without any price tags on so you know the type of quality shop it is !! They took the watch and we had to go back in an hour when the battery was fitted and vacuum tested, the cost .... $68 what a bargain and one very happy son !!!

We now use one of the jewellers in Mall of Millenia (near Cheesecake Factory) and have only paid $30. We have had new batteries for 2 Tags for the last 10 years and they are as good as new. You leave it there and collect it after shopping. They are certainly much cheaper than UK prices!!!

What a pity Sandra didn't post her bargain before you shopped Jean, but both options are worth it by the sound of it , especially if you don't make it to both malls, now there is 2 options! Thanks ladies, great tip! [msnwink]
