Just wondering whether to book 4 door compact car and then hoping for an upgrade in Orlando (complimentary of course!!!) or paying for the upgrade if we decide the car is not big enough?
any ideas? suggestions?

It's a big risk as the cost can be very high if you do not get the free upgrade. Depending on your dates, our suppliers may already have a free upgrade from Compact to Intermediate when you book with us.
For the sake of approx £24 a week I'd just book the 4 door full size and enjoy the extra room...unless of course there is an offer on where you are guaranteed an upgrade.
Always better to have too much and not need it than not enough and need it [msnwink]
Depends what extra room you think you might need - for the driver, passengers or luggage? and what sort of motoring you will be doing.
If you are going to upgrade it is cheaper to do it in UK as Roger states.
We have just booked the 4x4 through US car hire for Alamo, it is around £25 more then the smallest size car....take the gold option as a tank of fuel is then included.
That's exactly what we have done Shriley for our trip this Friday![]()
