Dairy Queen?

Anyone been? My mother-in-law raves about this chain is it good or just a ruse on her part?

It's ice cream heaven! Don't go if you're just looking for a desert, these ice creams are serious and more like a lunch. Sundaes to die for with a large selection of sprinkles so you can make up your own heaven here. Some of them are so big, you can't see over the top!

Wow! Sounds just like the kind of thing we'd like.

Any idea if there is one in the Kissimmee area?

My gang think they are in heaven. They are all ice cream freaks. LOL

The selection is huge, and so are the ice creams. I watched them all get various sundaes, etc and I asked for a small cup, typically American, do they do anything small !!!!

They even do an Ice Cream Celebration Cake. (Weddings, Birthdays, or anything goes days etc.)

For anyone who wants to go there is one by the Splendid China Dragon on the 192. Not sure of the opening hours.

The one we go to as we're the 'other end' of 192 like you is just into the first part of St Cloud, over the railroad tracks and on a bit. It's on the right and usually has only locals slurping the delicious things!

We were recommended to go by an American couple we met at St. Petes Beach, the children and Dad had MacDonalds Mc Flurrie's.

They told us you had not had ice cream until you had been to Dairy Queen.

If you give mine the option of MacDonalds or Dairy Queen for ice cream, Dairy Queen always wins.

Going back to Carole's thing about the American 'small'.
I went looking for some eggs one year and found they come in 3 sizes - wait for it
large
extra large
and jumbo!!
Not a small one in sight, though saying that, I think we could have the supermarket under the trades description act, cause the large ones were very small!
