[u]Friday 12 October</u>
Well what did I have planned for today, yep you’ve guessed it shopping. Not fun reading for all the thrill seekers amongst you but can’t do that sort of thing without Mr. CDV I would feel too guilty.
I pottered around the villa and had a little swim and some rays as it was boiling hot again, boy had I picked a good time to extend.
I then got myself organised and decided I would have a wander over to the Loop and have a look at the new side etc. I got up there and had a bimble around but if I am honest it’s not my favourite place so I left quite quickly but not before I had had lunch in Mimis Café which was the main reason I had gone over there really. It was the lunch time crowd so no hassles dining on my own, doesn’t bother me one iota really, comes of being an only child and wildly independent I don’t give a hoot what folks think! So I ordered a light lunch or so I thought bl**dy h* ll I was stuffed half way through it. I had only ordered the cup of French Onion soup and a half Cobb salad but it came with a choice of Muffin and I had gone for Blueberry and I have to say it is probably the nicest one I have tasted, it was freshly baked and warm and the blueberries were all squishy. You just have to try them!
I ploughed my way through the salad eating what I could but had to leave half of it and I could not doggy bag it as I had already decided to continue my shopping on the 192 as I hadn’t even gone into a shop at the Loop. So fit to burst I drove over to the 192 and spent the next 6 hours shopping and buying things that I never knew I needed under the guise of Christmas shopping!
Back to the villa tired and shopped out so just chilled out and watched the Food network (Mr. CDV says I am addicted by all things food – I don’t see a problem in this and I do class myself as a Foodie – there are worse things you can be after all)
[u]Saturday 13 October</u>
Saturday I decided to do sweet fa and spent the day chatting to friends, pottering around the villa, swimming and catching some rays. Just chilled out in the evening too. Difficult to say if I was relaxed or bored that day as I find it hard to do nothing!
[u]Sunday 14 October</u>
Well life is never dull for long in my world and today wasn’t for sure. The day was again just sent milling around and sunbathing. I had arranged with Robby and Lin to do something that afternoon, so when Lin suggested we go to the Cheesecake Factory we were all happy and set off around 4 in our finery........…first mistake!!
We arrived at the Mall of Millennia and wandered down to the Cheesecake Factory, I went ahead a little to get our names on the list whilst the others looked at the menu.......... second mistake, I walked in and this waitress came rushing out from behind the servery turned the corner and walked straight into me and I mean into me and spilt the huge cup of coffee all down me, luckily for me it had tons of cream on top so it cooled the coffee down but I could not move as she was literally in my cleavage with the cup. I didn’t do or say anything initially as what could I say, I was agahst! She was absolutely mortified and ran off to get the manager who came over and was also mortified.
It did not help that I had an expensive pale yellow silk dress with new baby blue shoes and a $500+ Furla baby blue suede bag all stained with coffee. Not to mention the coffee dripping of my Chanel glasses. I could see him thinking “Boy this is gonna cost us” and he went into damage limitation there and then. They brought out a load of towels and tried to mop me up best they could but I went to the loo to strip off and clean it properly.
I DETEST COFFEE so it was made all the worse, my undies were soaking my dress soaking as silk and lined so it wasn’t drying properly. I removed some of my undies[:I] and then just sat down with a small towel against my body in between me and the dress………uugh.
