Ah - good point Nina - didn't get one last year as the one she wanted was damaged. So, no not since the new regulations .... sorry !!!

There was someone in front of us at the bag check at MCO in October trying to take one through as hand luggage. It was refused and they were in tears as they had no idea how they were going to get it home as their cases had already been checked in at check-in. so it definitely is not worth the risk of trying to take it as hand luggage.

i am pretty certain when we were in the disney stores (or maybe it was in universal) in florida in october they had signs up stating that airlines were refusing to carry snow globes.

it was certainly in one of the major theme parks but i clearly remember thinking 'well at least they are letting customers know, as apposed to allowing them to purchase knowing they would be refused at the airport'.

may have changed by now but best to check.
