    Scuba Diving

I've been over to Florida a couple of times since qualifying as a diver but have never taken the...erm...plunge [xx(].

Are there any divers on this forum who have been on the trips advertised in the dive shops ?

If so, can you recommend any of them ?

We learnt to dive (PADI) at Amy Slates on Key Largo. Very friendly staff, easy diving, I would recommend them. Not cheap though.

I did my open water check out dives with www.diveorlando.com.

The guy who ran it was very experienced and as it was only myself and my daughter we got very good tuition.

You can get approved by PADI

They are based in a timeshare complex near Premium Outlets

I'm already a PADI qualified diver, but after visiting numerous dive shops around I-Drive, OBT and Sand Lake Road, I've found that the choice of organised dive trips is huge.

What I'm looking for is anyone who has been on one of these trip and whether they were any good, i.e. location, visibility, marine life etc.
