    Car size query

I'm about to book a car for visit in November, but which car? Had a Pacifica last year, I was on my own and loved it but it was a bit too big and I was forever filling it with petrol. I've had Premium car another visit, lovely but heavy and wasn't a hatchback. I want something like the pacifica but smaller, can anyone recommend which make I should choose? Appreciate recommendations

When it is just me I go for a 4 door intermmediate booked through this site and usally choose a Pontiac and just cruise around. I also like the Touring Edition PT Cruiser but they are a bit gutless if you are a speed demon but ok if you are just pottering around the place.

I always go for a small 2 door when on my own...had a great little GM two door last time.. went like a rocket....cheap to hire too....it was a G5..we have a Grandam two door sports at home and this little car out handled it... was faster...great brakes...and not so heavy on the steering.....would never have a PT Cruiser again ..gutless is not the word for it...sometimes the small 2 doors are nice little runarounds...cheap good on gas...fast...and can be more roomy than you think...

Convertible sounds great but I think I'll go intermediate, the touring edition PT cruiser sounds just the job, I do need space for shopping for large items that may need replacing in the villa. thanks for all teh help.

Depending on what you need Murial the Cryiser should be ok as the rear seats collapse down, I managed an 8 foot real Christmas tree a couple of Xmas's ago! I was amazed it fitted in.

Another car which has masses of space for big items is the Dodge Stratus, nothing great to look at but ok to drive and very spacious.

Ian it depends on which rental company you choose and where you fly into.

I always choose (at the airport (MCO) not when booking) and get a particular car depending on which company I rent from at the time.
