    Windwood Bay

Just starting to look at villas for our next trip. Can anyone tell me about the location of Windwood Bay? Last year we stayed at Indian Point and have stayed around the same area on other trips - all very handy for eating out etc on the 192.

Is Windwood Bay anywhere near the 192 or is there another similar area nearby with a good selection of places to eat.

Also what sort of drive time is it to Disney?

    Many thanks
    Karen

Karen this is the write up from the site.

    To answer your questions:

We can get to Disney in around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic at the time.

Champion's Gate is the nearest shopping area 2 minutes from the community with supermarket, banks, gas stations, 3 restaurants (Chilis,Chinese and Italian) plus 7/11, Subway and McDonalds, a hairdressers, nails salon, liquor store, Walgreens etc.

There are two nearby Wal*Marts both about a 10-15 minute drive.

There are also other eateries near the community such as Perkins, Cracker Barrell, Wendys, Dominos, more McDonalds mainly on the US27 which is a 5 minute if that drive away. They are currently building a new shopping strip mall not far from Windwood Bay community which will have another Publix supermarketand more shops and eateries in the general area of it including Pizz Hut.

There are "posher" restaurants in the immediate area too.

Your other question, it's not far from the 192 either.

It is a few minutes from exit 58 on the I4 West and a 25 minute drive from MCO.

    Any other questions just ask.

I can fully endorse what CDV says.

Windwood Bay is in a really good location and there is easy access to Disney, 192, shopping, restaurants, golf, etc.

The houses on the community vary in style and size and were all built between 2004 and 2005. There has been a lot of recent landscaping, which makes it look even more attractive than it already did.

Windwood Bay is in an extremely accessible location with very easy drives to Disney and all the other amusement parks. It is also only 10 minutes away from Celebration which is certainly a favourite place to visit by many holidaymakers.

    Hi Karen

The villas on Windwood Bay are all very individual and in a great location with easy access to all the parks, shops and restaurants, as mentioned by CDV.
