Who on this forum would you like to meet, and why?

I think this topic has been covered before, but I couldn't find the thread so I thought it would be interesting to discuss again.

Personally, I would like to meet CDV, to teach Mrs T restraint when it comes to shoes; Mach 2, to hear scandalous behaviour stories from Concorde; Katy's Grandad because he sounds like he's got lots of money and could buy me a good meal; Robert5988 because I like a good argument(and also to find out what 5988 means) and LiesaAnna because she's just so enthusiastic about everything that she's bound to be good company.

Anyone else got any other thoughts?

Sadly, your first assumption is way off the mark Tonish. That said, I'm sure I would enjoy your company at a venue my modest means would run to. If we invited Robert along he could contest the bill and save the 3 of us even more money.

I think the 5988 is the number of people in hiding after disagreeing with him.[msnwink]

I think I would like to meet John and Roger and Martin just to say thank you in person for this virtual meeting place which is safe, fun and reliable with lots of great info.
I also would like to meet Snapper, but I just want to have a photography class from him.
The other person that springs straight to mind is Blott. I think we would have a really good chat about many things.
There are loads of others for many reasons. The list is endless.

I have already met Mizzy, she's is lovely and Snapper who is also great and takes a mean photo[clap]

This year I met Sue (Sue and Jere) and Ravino (Jacqueline) at Orlando airport - more lovely ladies[msnsmile]

I would love to meet so many more including yourself, so we really should get a OV meet up organised[high5]

Peeps, just in case anyone is serious with the idea of arranging a bit of a forum get-together I have an idea for you ...

Each January I help to organise and run a reasonably large charity beer festival.

It would make a great place for a forum get-together and at least two of the names mentioned so far on this thread will likely be there. [msnwink][msnwink][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

The dates for next year are Thursday 24 January - Saturday 26 January, 2008. I'm more than happy to help with any organising if a bunch of people want to come, and can certainly sort out a few interesting tipples to help bring some Florida fun into the English winter. [msntongue]

For all the slimmers I do believe that many of the beers are calorie free. [msnwink] I know, I couldn't believe it either! [msnwink][msnwink] It's definitely a sign that you are meant to be there.

I'm not sure about the fodder. I'll have a word with Mick and see if we can't get some calorie free sausages too. [msnwink]
