    The Loop West and beyond!

Read this in the Sentinel at the weekend:

The first expansion of The Loop may not be completed for five months, but developers of the Kissimmee shopping complex already are scouting sites for a second addition.

J.C. Penney, the first store in the 400,000-square-foot Loop West, opened Sept. 30, but most of the remaining stores in the complex won't open until next spring.

However, The Wilder Cos., the Boston-based developer of The Loop and the Loop West, is talking with nearby landowners for possible expansion of the complex, says Andy LaGrega, one of three partners for the company and senior vice president of leasing and marketing.

"We are looking at the possibility because of demand," says LaGrega. "This has become the retail hub for south Orlando."

Always good news to hear of more shops opening...lol!

There is quite a bit of land to the side of the existing complex. We quite like the place to do some shopping and also eat at Chili's/Macaroni Grill

Had lunch there today Paul and what a bargain, I was so full up and all I had was the French Onion soup/petite Cobb salad combo and it comes with a huge Muffin all for $8.99. I never managed it all either.

The Loop's been open a couple of years now.

It is on the corner of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway.

Have it on my list of places to visit when I'm next over. I'll be there 13th November to shop at Ross for 10% day. Don't have to use my Sister's card anymore as I'm now over 55[msneek]

It's a small shopping mall which also has Beds Bath and Beyond (another of my favourite stores) plus Khols (department store) and a craft store called Michaels.

There are other stores there but these are the only ones I can remember.

There is a Sport Authority, Famous Footwear shop, on top of the ones already mentioned. There is also a large Cinema complex. Over the road you have a big Lowes.
