Is MGM/DHS Closing Jan-Feb '08 ?

hi all

friends of ours are in florida now
and they reckon there's signs up outside studios
saying its closing for a couple of months
(jan feb time) for the name change refurb

we're going in feb and are not
sure if they're just trying to wind us up

could anyone plz confirm or not
if this is the case

The Disney website has opening times posted for MGM in Jan and Feb, and the operational schedule says nothing about the park closing, so maybe it's your friends winding you up.

It may well be that they will be refurbishing quite a bit of MGM due to the name change from MGM, but as Rosie say, they are advertising the Osborne light til Jan 6th and the ESPN weekend of soaps etc at the end of February.
