    parking at port canaveral

    John
just thought i ask quickly about this, i'm going to be parking the rental car up at port canaveral for 4 days when we're on the cruise, will this be ok and do we have to notify yourself and dollar

it's a pay by the day car park but not sure about security and such[?]

the alternative is to get a transfer to the ship and leave the car at the villa

There's no problem parking the car at the docks, and no need to notify us or Dollar.

The only thing I would say (not to worry you, and very unlikely to happen), but in the unlikely event the car is broken in to, then the cost of windscreen repair is not covered in the insurance, so you might bear the cost for this (the car itself is covered if stolen). See http://www.uscarhire.co.uk/faq-inclusions.aspx#126 for details of this.

We have always parked safely at Port Canaveral. I think the security is excellent and cars are not allowed in unless they can produce cruise tickets etc. I don't think you need worry on that score Marie.
