    Nintendo Wii

    Hi

I am trying to get hold of a Nintendo Wii for my daughter, every where I go they are sold out and shop assistants keep telling me there is a real shortage in this country.

Has anyone got any ideas where I may pick one up?

    Thanks
    Julie

Well, www.amazon.co.uk claims to be able to supply them (through Amazon Sellers) for around 285-290 GBP

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-lis...1933775&sr=8-1

Also depending on how desperate you are, www.amazon.de has them, and will usually dispatch to UK.

    http://amazon.de/s/ref=nb_ss_w/302-5...&Go.y=12&Go=Go

225 EUR is about 157 GBP. You might need an adaptor, but the voltage is the same. Check the bundles accessories though.

    Hi

Yes I have seen them on Amazon and Play.com but they are roughly £100 more than anywhere else[msnmad] - I suppose it's supply and demand so people can hoik the price up and people will still buy if they are desperate.

I wonder if it is a pre-Christmas sales hype drive?

In fairness, though, we have had ours about 6 months and it is very good!

We got ours before last Christmas and to be fair i called our local shop on a daily basis for stock updates. They had a delivery coming in one day so i waited in the shop until they came in and got one this way (did have to wait 3 hours)

If i was you i would call some of your local stores on a daily basis and ask if they can reserve one for you sooner rather than later as it will get worse the nearer you get to Christmas.
Have to say my kids love playing on it especially the Wii Sports and Mario party.
