Dalmations are in the kennels - Days 6/7/8

    Monday 01 OCT

New month, new week. Well as Mr CDV is in town we have decided to try and have a bit of a holiday this trip, no DIY and no parents!

    [u][u]Monday</u></u>

Had such a crazy week I can’t remember what we did exactly during the day but it involved dossing around the villa and generally chilling.

Late afternoon we decided to go down to Lake Wales for dinner and a bit of shopping, boring stuff from Home Depot and Loews including paint swatches. I watched Mr. CDV register that this was gong to be a future job for him! Got home after 9 and just collapsed in front of the TV!

    [u]Tuesday 02 Oct</u>

Same detail as most mornings, got up, had breakfast. Decided I wanted to go do a bit of shopping and Mr CDV needed to go to the Home Depot again (yawn). So he dropped me off and I bimbled around doing a bit of Christmas shopping etc.

We were going out that evening to dinner and a show so decided to have an early lunch and as we drove past KFC all healthy thoughts went out the window. So half hour later and stuffed we left KFC and drove home to get organised.

We got into our gladrags and left the house about 5 and drove to Downtown Disney and decided to have a preshow dinner in House of Blues, where our meal and experience was very nice as you do hear mixed reports from here. After dinner we went for a little walk around downtown and walked off dinner and of course had a little browse in the shops but managed to keep the $$$ in my purse!

We then decided to go and pick up our tickets for La Nobu and go in. I had done a bit of ducking and diving to get the exact seats I wanted and had chosen 103 C 8&9 (which was basically right in front of the middle of the stage, third row back and bang in the middle of the row, it was just perfect as the stage is low and although you of course have to look up at times it was not achey as it can be sometimes when you go to a show and sit at the front.

Mr CDV being the b*gger he is said when we sat down "goodness what a bargain great seats for $50" and of course the guy next to him fell straight for it and about 5 seconds later said "excuse me who much did you pay"? I just started laughing and said to him "I can't believe you fell for that" and we all laughed and got into a conversation with them which was very pleasant. Of course we had paid the same $240ish that they had paid!

We ooohed and aaawed the way through the show, well I did but Mr CDV enjoyed it too. The kids were my favourite but won’t spoil it by saying anything else here as I have avoided reading anything about the show for the last year or so as this had been on the agenda for a while.

    [u]Wednesday 03 Oct </u>

Well I like to go to the Gulf Coast at least one day per trip and today was the day, so we got up early and pottered around getting organised and left the villa about half 9. We had a pleasant trip over to Tampa and onto Tarpon Springs where we had a lovely day wandering round, the weather was lovely too. Firstly we had coffee and Baklava... yum!. We then took a great boat trip where we saw 2 Dolphins in the wild and caught too much sun! It was glorious and I really felt like I was on holiday at that moment!

We then had a late fab lunch in one of the many Greek restaurants and had another wander round the little shops and bought some sponges etc. Mr CDV even found a guy to talk football about as the Greeks as are passionate as the Brit supporters, I was too busy shopping to care abut the football talk!

We left about 4 as we were out for dinner with friends that evening. It took us a little longer to get back because of rush hour and then 30 minutes after arriving home, showered and changed we picked up Robby and Linda and went for dinner, we were knackered so was pleased when Chilis at Champions’ Gate was mentioned as it was 2 minutes away and I was driving that nightas Mr CDV had driven all day.

Had a nice light meal (Casear Salad with Shrimp), and watched everyone else tuck into their cocktails as I sipped my strawberry lemonade but that was 2 fo
