Hopper tickets

Can someone explain to me what is meant by a hopper ticket. I see there are some that say without hopper and I do not really understand.

a hopper gives you the freedom to "hop" from park to park on the same day using just the one days admission[msnsmile]

using a 7 day ticket as an example if you wanted to vist MK and then MGM in the same day you would use 2 days admissions without a hopper ticket

but with a hopper ticket you would just use the one days admission

you can "hop" and visit all 4 parks on the same days admission [msnsmile2]if you have the energy that is [msnwink]

The main benefit of a hopper for me is that I only want to do a couple or three rides at each park. We can "do" one in the morning, back to the villa for a chill out period and go back to another park for a couple of rides and fireworks in the evning, all classed as one day hopping.

If you are going to stick with one park per day then you can save money by buying non hopping tickets.

we did this as we're wimps and half a day in any park is enough for us

i think the max time we spent in a park was 5 hours before we were totally shattered and then went back home to chill by the pool or we had a very lazy start by the pool and went to the parks later in the day

this worked best for us but if you have the stamina then go for it[msneek]

We love the hopper ticket, as we know our way around the parks, and know exactly what we want to see and do. Last time we did 5 parks, started off at Epcot to make sure we could get on Soarin', Mission Space and Test Track, then drove to MGM, next was Animal Kingdom, followed by Magic Kingdom, and finished up back at Epcot for the fireworks - where the heavens opened just as they were going to start and we had to admit defeat and leave - absolutely saturated, incredibly tired but thrilled with our day.

Not for the faint hearted, or those with little children, but as a villa owner who spends more time doing things to the villa than going to the parks we usually have to do everything in one day![msnwink]

But you could definitely spend all day at one park if you wanted to see and do most things, and not be under pressure.

Hi Guys ,

Can anyone tell if its still possible to buy Hopper passes that are also NON expiration, I still have a day or two on passes we bought in 2004 , but when they are used it makes more sense to buy the same type as sometimes we only go to Disney twice on a visit , and we,r usually back within 3 to 4 months .
