Hi,
Has anybody done any of the 'behind the scene's' tours at any of the parks[?]
If so, are they worth doing or do they take away the magic[?]
Would be interested to hear your thoughts.

I've done a couple of the tours at SeaWorld (Polar Expedition and Rescue) and found them really interesting. Unfortunately though, the last time we did the Polar tour, we didn't get to see the polar bear or walrus which was a shame (but still educational).

We have done backstage tour at Universal It was quite good and at least you got to sit down and have a rest. The boys thought it incredibly boring though

We've done the Sea World ones and enjoyed them and my brother enjoyed one of the backstage ones at Epcot (mostly about the hydroponic, think that is how it's spelt, gardens) but you get to see a bit more than just going on the Living land ride.
Sorry to hijack this post but I've been trying to do some research online as to Backstage Tours without much success so I thought I'd refer to the "Fountain of Knowledge" that is OVF.
Hubbie and I have thoroughly explored the parks on our various visits but don't know much about the tours. Although, I'm quite taken with the snippets of info I have on Safaris offered by Animal Kingdom and will have to find out more, for sure.
I know that Tinkerbell has referred to her fantastic time on the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour in Part Two of her Trip Report. $100 for a thorough back-stage tour and 30 minutes scuba diving in the Tank! That sounds like something I'd really enjoy.
Can the Experts suggest any other excellant Tours?
Kind regards

The Magic Kingdom 'Keys to the Kingdom' tour takes you on the ultimate backstage tour of the MK. You get to go through the infamous untilidoors (underground tunnel system used for relocating charcters etc!) and lots lots more. To find out about any more tours from Disney call USA 407 WDW TOUR for info! They are really helpful!

Excellant, thanks Tinkerbell.
Any ideas about tours of the non-Disney parks?
Many thanks
