Flight Booking Question

Does anyone know if flights were booked on BA through an online service eg Opodo, would it still be possible to pre book seats on the BA website and use the online check in facility.

Yes, you can use the BA on line check in if you book through another company. However when we flew with BA earlier this year they would not let us select our seats until we checked in due to a change of policy.

You should have a 6 letter booking code with the reservation which can be entered on the homepage of ba.com. Certain categories of passengers can pre-reserve seats based upon class of travel, fare or Frequent Flyer status. If you're in 1 of those, the site will let you select seats in advance.
