Dalmations are in the kennels - Day 3

    Friday

Got up around 8 am and decided I needed to start catching up with folks and I had two chums I wanted to catch up with in particular. I logged onto the forum to see if SDJ was up and she was logged on so I decided I would go round there first. I showered and got myself organised, unpacked the car from the shopping frenzy and went round to Sandra’s. I rang the door bell and it was opened by a puzzled looking lady!! Luckily I had not told her I was here so I was not subjected to Sawdust and bananas as she had none in…b*gger;+). Sat gassing for ages as you do, and about 4 hours later we both needed to get on so we said out goodbyes.

As I left I wanted to go and see Rose (Birthday girl) who had just driven by but not realised it was me as I had out of town plates and my back to their car and of course they wern't expecting to see me as I wasn't arriving til the Saturday so when I arrived at their place I think they were surprised or was it shock? We had a nice chat as it had been a long time since I had seen Rose and Al properly. After a while I needed to let them get on to so I left and popped in to see our other chums and drop something off for them, an hour and another natter later it was time to come home.

Got back to the house about 4pm after just popping out for an hour at 9 am! It was still boiling hot and I wandered round the garden and it was so peaceful.

Dinner was a lovely seafood medley from Publix, it’s easy as it is already made up and washed this down with iced tea so I am behaving as that is all I have had to eat today after my escapade yesterday I was still a bit delicate…..yes yes I know why have a first meal of seafood after a dodgy tum, couldn’t resist as I was STARVING by this stage but drinking lots of water to as it is soooooooo hot, its just wonderful and no rain in sight either today or yesterday when I was out, so thanks to everyone who ordered the sun.

So here I am tonight chilling out and I might tackle the shopping as when I say I unpacked the car this morning I just lobbed it onto the floor in the garage.

Oh no the ice cream man is nearby I can here the tune…I will resist, I will resist!

Got a few planned outings etc over the next few days so it should not be as boring….promise!

Have you not time for a swim to cool of as that was the first thing we did when we arrived there .
Oh how we miss the pool so expensive to put one in and to run it .
The only thing we may do is a hot tub as can put it in a large out house as it seem to be the thing here now .
