I haven't a tri-band phone and wanted to know how much a cell phone was in the States. Someone has told me they sell disposable phones in Orlando is this true?

You can buy... pay as you go phones...Virgin does one for around $50 +...from Best Buy....

Not heard of throw away ones, unless you mean what Chrizzy has mentioned.

I bought a pay as you go T-mobile sim card in June for $100 with $40 worth of calls.
But I have seen pay as you go phones in 7 Eleven and other places
for about $50.
