We own a fantastic villa an Lake Wilson Preserve and would never allow any travel company to do our bookings. I prefer to give the personal touch to our guests, plus they know which villa they will be having and what ammenities are provided.

I suspect you will be able to pay for pool heating once you have arrived in the villa. This will be paid via the management company. Remember, if it's only switched on on the day you arrive, or the following day if you have to go to the office on the US27 to pick up keys, it will take at least 24 hours to warm up to the required heat. Another benefit of booking with us is that we always put the heating on at least 24 hours before the guest arrives. For your information, we charge $25 per day for pool heat, or £16. This includes the taxes we have to pay to the county and State. Pool heaters are not like immersion heaters and cost a lot of money to run and heat the vast quantity of water a pool holds.

I am sure you will like the location of LWP as it is very convenient for everywhere and easy access to the I4 and 192. Disney is a true 10 minutes drive away.

If I were you, I would email My Travel and ask them for details about how you go about organising pool heat and how much per day the charge is. You could suggest they contact the agent if they do not know the immediate answer. I know you are doing their job for them but they seem pretty useless to me.

Lesson learned, next time book direct with an owner, get all the information you are likely to need, plus the villa of your choice. You will also know in advance the extras the villa will have.

Have a wonderful holiday, in one of the best locations around, well OK I'm biased, and treat yourselves to pool heat, whatever the cost. I would certainly have it cause I'm a wimp too [msnwink]
