    courtesy? timescale

Hi again, having enquired about a couple of villas (decided on a six bedroom now )because there is definately 12 of us going) how long should I wait for a reply before I go asking elsewhere without seeming too impoliteand impatient, as from what i can see the reasonably priced villas (£600 to £700) are rapidly getting booked up.[:0] thanks in advance Mike

How long have you been waiting Mike???

I always reply as soon as I receive an enquiry email, allowing for being at work etc. It is only right that you should get the information you need as soon as possible, so you can make a decision

I hope you find what you're looking for and enjoy your holiday.

Like Kerry I always reply as soon as possible, often within a couple of hours. Obviously other owners may not be able to access the internet as often. Sometimes the reply may take longer than normal, remember the owners may be lucky enough to be on holiday in Florida when you email them[8D]

    Mike:

If you want to email us the villa ref numbers of the ones you enquired about I will chase them up and see what is happening. As people have said it may be that the owners have gone away for a few days and do not have net access althought this is rare.

If you have had no response at all the problem we often find with enquiries is that we get e-mails bounced back to us if the e-mail address has been entered incorrectly or occasionally because an ISP (often AOL) decides that another ISP is causing spam and blocks them, if nothing at all is received it is most unlikely that not one owner would have availability or not get back, it may be worth putting in a 2nd enquiry and just noting in the comments it is a repeat request. Sometimes we can guess what the correct address is, othertimes we have to just hope the enquiry does come in again. It's always as frustrating for us as the guests when it happens, especially if we would like to be able to help and the guests may think we are ignoring them.
