BA to up its Orlando flights

BA has just announced it is to operate an extra 3 flights a week from Gatwick to Orlando for next summer, starting at the end of March 2008. With twice daily services on Wed Sat and Sun, it leaves around 2 hours after the daily flight.... I'm not sure of the exact timing, but around 1330 from Gatwick and 1945 from Orlando

Why can't someone else fly from Manchester other than Virgin[?][?]

They do, as quite a few Charter flight operate each week from Manchester. I do have to agree with you there is very little choice from Manchester compared to the London airport other than in-direct flights.

Already bookable as BA 2038/2039 with the above timings. Good prices for April & May too. 2 class 777 service like the earlier flight.

Virgin have announced today that they are doubling the number of PE seats on Heathrow flights to meet heavy demand. No changes announced for Orlando routes though.

Actually, I think the only additional Orlando direct scheduled service from London is BA from Gatwick. Manchester couldn't sustain a direct American Airlines service to Miami which only lasted a couple of winters. I'd like to see more but can't see it happening.

    JACQUELINE
Delta and CONTINETAL fly from MANCHESTER everyday via JFK and ATLANTA with DELTA and via NEWARK with CONTINETAL .
We have traved with both and no problem and sometimes cheaper than charter ,Also you can collect AIRMILES aswell so you can get a free flight when you have collected the points .[msnsmile2]

You are right about the prices, especially as the school Easter holidays start then for us It is a 3 class service like the daily flight club, premium economy and economy. BA haven't had first on the Florida flights for a long time. There really is no market for this
