I'm going over in 2 weeks and I notice dollar.com have an offer for 7 seat minivans of 189 dollars a week if you pay with an AMEX card - thats $386 inc fees and taxes for 10 days, which is mch lower than others.
That seems a fantastic deal - but is there a catch? Will I be hit with other charges at the airport??

Unfortunately, although the price sounds very good, you still have to add on a lot of extras making it much more expensive then a fully pre-paid booking through us.

Roger has a vested interest, but I ain't! and he speaks the truth!
American motorists can use their car insurance to cover them with rental cars - we can't.
The costs of insurance will double the cost if not more by the time all the other costs are taken into account.
That is why you can get Fly Drives from firms in UK with a 'free' car.
By the time you get it on the road, you will pay far more than for a car plus all insurances from this site or similar brokers.
OK thanks for that - I guessed as much...and confirmed by small print!
