Alan went to Lowes to buy some plants while sam slept and Barney and I watched TV.
On Alan's return, we spent some time in the pool before we finally managed to persuade Sam to get up at just before 2.00pm! Once everyone was ready, we drove up to I Drive for a meal at Tommy Bahamas at The Pointe. We had eaten there in Naples and Sarasota 5 years ago and had been wanting to try it again ever since. When we were last in Florida in Dec 06, Tommy Bahamas at the Pointe was just opening but we didn't make it that time. The meal was really good, lots of beautiful fresh bread, steak for Alan, burger for me, chicken sandwich for Sam and Barney followed by some lovely desserts - mine was an upside down pineapple cheesecake. The waiter was really friendly and he ended up having quite a chat with Barney about Dr Who!
After leaving the restaurant, we headed over to Sea World for the evening shows that we had missed earlier in the week. First we saw Clyde and Seamore - this was really entertaining as they take the mickey out of all the other Sea World shows. We then saw Shamu Rocks where the atmosphere was great. We rounded the evening off with the fireworks and got back to the house at about 10.00pm where we watched a bit of TV before bed.
