The Johnson family vacation 2007 - part 7

We had decided we wanted to go on a boat trip while we were at the coast so, after breakfast at IHOP, we headed to John's Pass which we had last visited 5 years ago when Barney was only 6 months old.

We thought we were out of luck at first as there didn't seem to be any trips going but after a bit of a scout around, we managed to find a dolphin spotting excursion. After a couple of drinks, we boarded the boat for the 90 minute trip. We saw loads of dolphins and a couple of them came right up to the boat. The captain let Barney steer the boat, which was great until the little monkey turned the engine off!!

We set off back to Kissimmee at about 5.00pm but got stuck in traffic near Tampa where a lorry had shed its load. Once back home, we settled down with a take out from The Olive Garden and a DVD (Men in Black).

We keep promising ourselves a trip to the coast but haven't got around to it yet, maybe next time.
