The Johnson family vacation 2007 - part 4

    Friday 24/8/07

We had decided to have another day at Universal so after breakfast at Cracker Barrel (scrambled eggs and bsicuits for me and Barney, full monty for Alan and nothing for Sam), we arrived at Universal at about 11.00am. It seemed really busy as we parked but wasn't tood bad once we got in. We were all going to do 'Twister' but after watching the film before the ride, Barney decided it wasn't for him so Alan waited outside with him while Sam and I went on.

After 'Twister', we walked tound to 'The Mummy'. Sam had decided he didn't want to ride it again but Alan insisted I should give it a go so I joined the line for single riders and walked straight on! I really enjoyed it and thought it was very well done.

Next we all did 'Shrek' and 'Jimmy Neutron' which we all enjoyed and then we were just deciding what to do next when the heavens opened so we decided to go home. The drive took much longer than usual thanks to a spectacular thunder storm.

The rain stopped later on so we decided to go to Ruby Tuesdays on the 192 for dinner. I had a lovely cobb salad with a loaded baked potato, Alan had a bbq burger, Sam had chicken sandwich and I think Barney had fries (again!!) Good job he was eating plenty of fruit back at the villa! After dinner we headed home for a quick game of Dr Who top trumps before bed!

    Saturday 25/8/07

You guessed it - another lazy day! The great thing about coming to Florida every year is that you don't feel you have to cram everything in.

Alan and Sam slept in while Barney and I played in the pool. Once Alan and Sam were up, I managed to get some sunbathing and reading done - bliss!!

At about 3.00pm, we headed off to Bahama Breeze which was as lovely as ever. Alan and I shared a chicken flatbread to start, then I followed that with a chicken salad while Alan had Grouper and no prizes for guessing what the boys had!!

The boys then headed off to Hawaiian Rumble to play golf while I had am hour or so at Premium Outlets. I bought 5 tops in Gap and then just as it started to rain, the boys picked me up again. After a quick stop at Walmart, we headed for home. We had planned to go to Old Town but it was after 8.00pm when we got home so we opted for a quiet night in.
