Tuesday 21/8/07
A quiet day today so we let Sam have a lie in whlle Alan, Barney and I played in the pool and enjoyed the sun.
Once we had managed to persuade Sam to get up, we headed to The Olive Garden for lunch. I had been dreaming about their 'Chicken Alfredo' since our last visit and it didn't disappoint! We then went off to play mini golf on the 192 which perhaps wasn't the best idea with it being about 94 degrees! After playing a round of golf and feeding the alligators, we headed back to the house via Walmart and into the pool again. Like yesterday, I was asleep soon after 9pm.
Wednesday 22/8/07
Seaworld today - we hadn't been for almost 4 years so were really looking forward to it. We arrived at about 9.30 and after a quick bite to eat, it was over to Shamu stadium to see 'Believe'. Barney was a bit young last time we went but really enjoyed it this time. We then spent a while at the Shamu playground before visiting the stingrays, dolphins, alligators, flamingoes and Wild Arctic. We rounded the day off with Clyde and Seamore which was as entertaining as ever. The weather was really hot again so we headed home at about 5 for a quiet night in with a chinese takeaway - honey chicken and orange chicken, loads of egg fried rice - very nice indeed!
Thursday 23/8/07
Another lazy day - I'm sure you can see a pattern emerging here - a hectic day followed by a lazy day! Alan, Barney and I were up at 8.30 am while Sam surfaced just before noon!
Following a day in the pool, we decided to go to Red Lobster late afternoon. I had maple and cherry glazed salmon and shrimp with rice which was gorgeous and Alan had a lobster and shrimp combo and I'm pretty sure Sam and Barney both had chicken tenders and fries.
Then it was off to the cinema at Downtown Disney where Alan and Sam saw The Simpsons and Barney and I saw Ratatouillie. Both films got the Johnson thumbs up and then it was back to the house for a bit of TV and ice cream before bed!
