Jokes/Fun Area

Hi,

Can somebody advise why when I click on active topics it never includes the joke area? I cannot ever remember seeing this area showing since I started using the active topics option.[msnoo I hope there are no other topics I have been missing out on!

think it was taken off sometime ago as there were many jokes coming up and it wasnt what people wanted to see,

Thanks Leisa, that explains it a little, although you dont have to read every topic on active topics[msnoo] so doesnt make sense to me.

At one time, it took over nearly the whole page of Active Topics on a regular basis so it was removed from showing up. Hope that makes sense.

i thought that but think it was said by keeping the kids pages coming up that they know theyre being watched by parents and mods? so no "wrong people" in there when they shouldnt be?

Yeah but there are so many post by the kids now its the same arguement as to why the Jokes got removed.

Its about time the jokes got reinstated or the kids got left off the active topics too.

I have to admit i was one of the culprits for getting the jokes removed due to spate of heavy posting, but its all quiet now and most people enjoy the jokes.

In the interests of fair play the two areas should be treat the same.

The arguement regarding monitoring of the kids doesn't wash, if people are concerned then a specific moderator should be appointed to oversee that section.

Come on let the jokes back in
