Is there a place in the Oak Island Cove area that anyone can recommend to buy fresh fish?

The only places I've found in Florida to sell fish are the supermarkets, ie Publix, Wal-Mart, etc. Unless you would like to take a fishing trip and catch it yourself of course. [msnwink]

Supermarkets are the main local suppliers of fish but you can try these two if you want it fresh. Both are within a reasonable driving distance of Oak Island Cove.

Publix have a good range from Catfish[msnscared] to sno-crab.

I think you cannot do better than Publix and whats more they are so helpful and give me great ideas for fish recipes especially with fish Im not familiar with . I believe that the Publix fish counter staff take great pride in their fresh fish .

I can recommend publix at Orange LAke, which is the nearest to you -great fish counter.
