    Norma,

I'm not sure of which post you mean, but I always use a website called seatguru.com You can get the layout of almost all aircraft there.

Thanks Nuala, Mizzy. It is not seat guru I use that. This was one that Julie had posted and it was people who had flown on the aircraft given there own opinions on the seats. It was really good and the best I have ever read. She started it off by apologizing because it was a long post. I was looking at it the other week and can`t find it now[msncry]

Norma, you have been given some good sites/advice here but here is my post you were looking for, sorry its very long[msneek]

Long post but felt it worth posting, it shows seat ratings for the LGW and MAN 747-400's

Another fantastic seat in the front cabin. Near the bar but it doesn't seem to get used very much so no problems.

V good for day flights, close to bar at night if bar is in use.

Another great upper class suite seat on the Gatwick fleet

as a single traveller I loved this seat. If travelling as a couple would choose to sit as far forward as possible.

Not a bad seat at all - possibly a little close to the bar seats, and you can hear some noise from the galley, but good overall.

Great during day flights. Though near the end for the food and drinks, right near the bar if desperate, without being 'on top' of things.

Not too bad, though the occassional opening of the wardrobe overnight and being near to the galley disturbed my sleep from time to time.

Good seat, but will get some noise from the galley/bar/wc. Feels a bit more secluded from the rest of the cabin.

although this seat has the same room as others in the cabin it would be my last choice as its very close to the galley and WCs

These are good seats, BUT you will have to wait until everyone has checked in as they are reserved for those with impaired mobility

allocated this seat due to mobility problems. good legroom but seemed slightly narrower so if you are larger than average width you may find this a problem. all in all this section of the aircraft very quiet and private.

These are bulkhead seats and ideal as these seats in this area seems quiet and especially good for flying home on a night flight but [bad language filtered out] leg room.

No Leg room - with seats in row 21 in the reclined position, you can’t even get out of the seat.

Lots of legroom as no seat in front of you - nice and quiet as well as Premium Economy is just in front and curtains are closed during flight.

Comfy enough but there is a limited recline, which is the big downfall.

No-one reclining in your face is great, but the seat is slightly more narrow & the large door occupies l

On my recent trip I had seat 21D going out and 40D on the return - row 21 is a great row, 40DEFG are also good seats for leg room but they they are not as wide, so if you have had to many burgers watch out[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink] - my seat was 40D on the return[msnsmile2]

allocated this seat for mobility reasons good legroom but reduced seat width, uncomfortable ladies if your a size 16+

ooh there's my rating, not so uncomfortable for me this last trip must have been those extra 3 stones lost that made all the difference this time round[msnwink]

why Maz? well that came after Mizzy as a pet name [msnembarrased]
