Better not send that one to my friend who's coming out to Florida with us in a few days!
She's a very nervous passenger and apparently I am going to have to keep up a stream of inane chat during take off and landing!

It's St Maarteen in the Caribbean. The island is only just long enough for a runway and so the runway starts right by the beach at both ends. The problem is the runway is short and so aircraft have to land right at the start of the runway to stop in time.
This one was a little low on the apporach to say the least though.

The name of the airport is Princess Juliana, which is located in the Netherland Antilles. The Runway starts literally right at the fence, so the landing is a good one for heavy planes. A lot of 747s and A340s land there and have to land RIGHT after the fence because of the distance it takes them to stop.
Also, kudos to the pilots for landing there, as they have to make visual landings since the airport has no ILS (Instrument Landing System)
Under the circumstances it looked like a normal landing to me
