Well its a zoo, but also a theme park with lots of white knuckle rides. It used to be the only big zoo in the area before Animal Kingdom and the only place for white knuckle rides before Islands of Adventure so has lost ground a little of late. And it is slightly off the beaten track over in Tampa though there is a shuttle bus from Orlando. Does have some really great things - good ice show, real wooden rollercoaster, a couple of good water rides, white tigers. However the latest offering, the Haunted Lighthouse, is a bit naff.

    Hi
It is our favourite theme park. Our sons (15 & 12) love all the thrill rides. I love the white tigers and hubby likes the hospitality area and the fact that everyone is happy!
It is a great day out.

The only thing I wasnt happy about it when we visited this year, was the Brewery has gone
You just sat in a room and they told you the history of Budwieser

Shame though, the tour we did in 98 was great, they showed you the whole process from start
to finish, I once went round the Fullers brewery in Chiswick and that was out of this world.

I presume that even though the brewery has gone, you still get the free beer ?

Its even worse when you mistakenly opt for the non-alcoholic offering !

But its nice to know that at 34, I can still occasionally get knocked back at the bar in Seaworld. And Sue (who is 31 at the end of the month) NEVER gets served ! []
