Jean, I can't believe how big they are now! At least you know they're going to good homes. Thanks for the photos, I've loved seeing them.

That really is a lovely picture. I would love to breed our border terrier but I would panic when the time came for them to go. I think I would want to keep them all. [msnsmile2]

Believe me , by the time they reach 8 weeks, you would be happy to see most of them going !![msnwink] I have been very lucky over the years and have had some lovely owners , I insist they all keep in touch and at Christmas I usually get loads of cards and photo's etc I have made some good friends too over the years. Just one or two sad tales and mis judged people but not many !

i send cards and photos at christmas to the lady we bought Olly from too, she's always emails me thanks and says how lovely it is to see him (especially beach photos as they don't have any near them) she's quick to help by email too if i ever get worried about something

when we picked him up the last thing she said was "you will love him and take care of him won't you?" so it must be a huge worry for breeders

It is Mizzy, I make my buyers sign a letter to say for what ever reasons if they have to part with the pup to contact me first as I am usually able to find a nice home rather than they try to advertise them ! I have conections too with our rescue and if they ever had one of mine in ( touch wood it has only ever happened once ) they would contact me as well. In my 25 years of breeding I have only had 2 back ! one where the couple divorced , that was Amber and I kept her myself until she died in January , she was 9 and once when the couple both died within 6 months of one another, she was 4 years old and I actually bought her back to help pay for the funeral expenses and rehomed her with a lovely couple where she still is today !
Breeding is not as simple as most people think, it doesn't just stop when you sell a puppy!

The pups are lovely and I bet you do not want to part with them .
Also you grandson is a real little boy our boys love our dog it was a poodle and so full of fun .
We would love another dog but go away to much shame [msnsmile2]
