Thursday 16th August day 7...........
A day by the pool was planned as my ED who stayed at home was expecting her A Level results so we wanted to be at the end of the web cam/phone etc in case did not get what she wanted and had to go into clearing for her Uni place. Luckily all was well she passed all her A Levels and got her frist choice at Uni, so we could relax[msnsmile2]
Spent the morning by the pool and then went to Celebration for lunch, followed by a quick Walmart[msnsmile2]
Evening was spent having a few drinks by the pool to toast ED followed by a pizza and movie at the villa - ah bliss[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2][clap][clap][clap]
Friday 17th August day 8.........
Morning by the pool, followed by a trip to Florida Mall first stop of course was Starbucks for coffee and cake - banana nut loaf and lemon drizzle loaf[msntongue] yes ladies on the slimming thread[msnwink]
Had a good shop and then headed over to DTD and Rain Forest Cafe - Little Lucy aged 5 could not remember her last visit and was totally blown away by the whole experience bless her[msnsmile] had a good meal and excellent service this time[clap]
Next stop the 6pm performance of La Nouba, we have been before in 2004 and loved it and we all wanted to see it again (see photo's in my other post in photo gallery) it was fantastic[clap][clap][clap]
Had a walk around DTD afterwards just soaking up the atmosphere and listening to the music from the House of Blues[msnsmile][msnsmile]

Saturday August 19th day 9...........
Morning by the pool just chilling, then off to Magic Kingdom. DH and I had mixed feelings about MK as we have been about 4 times before and it is not our favourite, but the children had the choice and so off we went.
Saw the Parade at 3pm which I have to say up close looked rather tired[msnsad] but YD & YS enjoyed it[msnsmile]
We had planned which rides we wanted to go on, Pirates of the Caribbean, Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, Big Thunder Railroad, Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise..............
We did Fast Pass for Stitch and Buzz before the parade started and they were great, the Buzz ride was the best[clap][clap]
Next we headed over to Adventureland for Pirates which was closed[msnmad][msnmad]due to tech fault[msnmad] so got our FP for Jungle Cruise and then went to Thunder Railroad also closed due to tech fault[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad][msnmad] by now I was getting angry and feeling like I had been ripped off so tried Splash Mountain and yes you guessed it CLOSED again due to tech fault[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad]
In desperation to find something open we did the Country Bear Jamboree[sick][sick][sick]it was the worsed thing I have ever seen, the biggest load of complete tack and the words of the songs were totally inappropriate for children, avoid this show at all costs unless you just want 15 minutes in the air con!
What made it worse was there was no info as to how long the rides would be closed so you don't know weather to hang around or come back or what! We felt really cheated[msnsad]
Went on the Jungle Criuse and then headed back over to thunder Railroad it had finally re-opened but no FP's available as the machines were all covered up and an 80 min queue now that it had re-opened, the same for Splash Mountain[msnsad]
Pirates opened just as we were walking past so we did go on that but all in all a very dissapointing visit to MK and I doubt we will go again[msnsad]
But we don't come to Florida for the parks although its nice to have them on the doorstep so after MK we headed back to the villa for a dip in the pool, shower and a chinese take away[msntongue][msnwink]
Today Sunday we are having a pool and Celebration meal day, followed by Fantasia Mini Golf and the Boardwalk to watch the fireworks tonight at 9pm[msnsmile2]
Bye for now from a fab 85 degrees at 1155 on the pool deck of the villa here in Calabay Parc[msnwink][msnwink][msnwink]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
