Have to admit, even in SF, I felt I had seen all there was to see in a day, seriously [msnsad] It was quite chilly too, that was end of September.

In 2002 my family and I spent a few days in San Francisco, an old school friend of mine is lucky enough to live a one hour drive from SF in Clayton. We stayed a couple of nights in Canary Wharf and my husband and I fell in love with the city,in fact it's where he proposed to me [msnsmile]. We were lucky with the weather when we went (beginning of June)it was warm, and there was no fog obscuring the wonderful Golden Gate Bridge; if you go a ride on the famous cable cars is a must. After visiting SF we flew on to San Antonio, Texas (hubby's aunt lives there), this is another lovely city that has a bit of everything for everyone - Seaworld, Fiesta Texas, Water Parks, downtown San Antonio with the River Walk, The Alamo, wonderful restaurants and the best bit is not many Brits have discovered yet [msnsmile2].
