    A levels

Hope everyone else who was waiting for sons and daughters A levels got what they wanted[clap]

Its the third time we have gone through the torment of waiting (we have 2 older boys) but our ED got hers today and got into her first choice University degree Course so she is a happy bunny and was on the web cam the morning as we are in Florida[msnsmile2] We still have two more littles ones which will have to go through it in a few years time[msnsad]

Well done to all those who also got their A Levels today[clap][clap][clap][clap]

Is this why you were online at 6am GMT Julie, when I seen you were still awake I thought your knee was bothering you but as soon as I sent the DM I thought of your daughter. Which Uni is she going to?

Well done to her and everyone else who got what they wished for.[clap][clap][clap]

My niece did well in her Leaving Cert (Irish equivalent) she got her first choice ,its quite a relief for us not to have those dreaded results coming ,but in seven years we will repeat the ritual again with our youngest . well done to all the kids out there with exam results and even if they dont get their first choice they may find no.2 choice may be the one they really wanted all along.

We had A levels last year with the eldest, it's the GCSEs for us this year. Mind you, in two years, if my eldest doesn't do a year in industry, we will have A levels, GCSEs and a degree [msnscared] Mind you, I have told them we are having a holiday in Florida to get over it

Well done to all those who achieved their A level grades, and congratulations to the mums and dads who have supported their children along the way.[clap]

I am relieved it isn't this time last year when we were waiting anxiously for the third lot of A level results - am so glad we have no more to look forward to! [msnscared]

And don't let anyone tell you that 'A' Levels are easy. The poor kids (and their teachers) can't win - if the results are down its poor teaching, if the results are up the exams are too easy.
