How often do you go to Florida?

Just wondered how often those with Villas go to Florida?

Wishing for a lottery win to buy a villa ourselves!!

We would go every year if we could. Don't like going any where else!! [msncool]

Twice a year for a total of ten weeks, give or take.

It's not a 'free' holiday though as you lose rentals when you're staying in your own home, so it really costs you just as much to stay there as anyone else and there are extra costs for all the things we do to our home.

Virtually every time the kids break up from school, as its the easiest time to go away with school age kids, and the only time we get to spend time together as a family. Otherwise, we would be working and kids don't see us at all.

A couple of times a year, with the kids at school and work commitments, sometimes it really hard. Would like to go more often, perhaps as the kids get older it will become easier. If we got a chance every month would be loveley.

3/4 times per year - now that we are no longer tied to school holidays.

Either 4 or 5 times a year, a couple with the children and then the rest on our own.

We like to keep our home up to a high standard so we are always touching up the paintwork, replacing the things that get broken or that get worn etc..etc.. It's the only place I don't mind doing jobs, as when we are finished we can have lunch sitting by our pool or go out for a meal at one of the wonderful restaurants close by[msnsmile2][msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

Normally 6 times a year on average depending on work schedule. Any excuse and I am Florida bound even on my own if the mood takes as I can shop without being reigned in! I normally book this a few days before when the prices are a bargain. The main trips I do on Virgin PE so it balances out.

Been there 3 times already this year and 2 more trips planned so only 5 this year. Most we have been is 7 times in one year or was it 8? Since we bought the land to build the villa (just short of 4 years ago) we have been to Florida must be almost 30 times but to be honest I have stopped counting now[8D] Shortest trip was 4 days longest 28 days.

It's not always a holiday though as there is always something to do at the villa and as Mr CDV is the HOA president for the community so is always busy with something therefore the villa and Florida are never far from our minds in one way or another.

Buy an extra ticket tonight......you never know!

We go at least twice a year. It is not all holiday though as the villa has to be kept spik and span and there are usually a few little jobs to be done. Mind you we do spend a lot of time visiting the malls and lazing round the pool. We love Florida and buying the villa was the best thing we ever did. (apart from finding this forum)
