Nightlife at the Boardwalk

We have kept 5 nights free for 'night outs' (apart from the Dinner shows) during or 3-week trip to Orlando in April-May 2004. We are going to the likes of Pleasure Island, City-walk, Pointe Orlando and Skull Kingdom, but I heard that there is good fun near the waterfront at Disney's Boardwalk resort. Has anyone sampled this? If so, please let us know.

We usually go to the Boardwalk early evening, it is very picturesque, with an array of restaurants from inexpensive to very expensive. There are peddle bikes, jugglers and all sorts of things going on. You can watch if you like or just continue to stroll along. We like just sitting, having a beer and watching the world go by - very relaxing.

Have a look at the disney site - if you go to hotels, there is a bit about the Boardwalk, including the restaurants.

Thanks Tracy. On that unscheduled evening, we will go either to the Boardwalk or to the Old Town Entertainment Complex for something different. My guess is that if the kids & seniors want to join us, we will go to Old Town; if not, to the Boardwalk by ourselves.

We always take the seniors and the kids to the boardwalk, they love (the kids that is) the jugglers and the entertainers, they also do great ice cream. The seniors (my mum and dad) enjoy the walk with the great views, the smiling faces of the grandchildren and of course the beer - it most certainly can be a few hours out for all ages !!!
