    Kissimmee Golf Club

For anyone who is interested they are doing a special coupon offer valid until the end of September

$29 Includes a free sleeve of balls, green fees, cart (buggy) and tax.

The course is OK... its not a top championship course but there are some challenging holes and a bit of water to keep things interesting. Club house is modern and it has a driving range. It is situated next to the Kissimmee Airfield where the old warplanes fly from and the MASH helicopter !

When we played last year we hired clubs and the Pro took them out of a box and took the wrappers off for me !!

If you are looking for a cheap round on a half decent course trhen may be worth printing off the coupon.

    $16 for Basic Set
$30 (the ones I had last year) for the Taylor Made.

I specifically asked if he had any stiff shafts... which he hadn't got any out... so it went into the store room and got some ! That was new irons and new woods.

I played Kissimee only this weekend and for $29 including a cart and a sleeve of balls you cant go wrong for me

Its by no means the best course in Florida, and you dont get all the luxuries of sat nav on the buggy etc, but it is still kept well and is a challenge for most players, greens are good as well

Saying that you can also pick up plenty of coupons for the more expensive courses to make the rounds a bit more reasonable, from local discount guides etc

Also try asking in Edwin Watts golfd shops if they have any coupons, they gave me a few (although I did buy new Taylormade woods)

Off to play Celebrations today ($59 with coupon), and also played Shingle Creek Earlier this week ($69 with coupon)and Championsgate last week

If you're playing Kissimmee do it on Sunday mornings. The War Bird museum is next door and all the old boys fly the WW2 planes to keep their hand in, it's amazing.
