TomTom Go 300 Sat Nav

Does anyone have a TomTom Go 300 Sat Nav, and if so what do they think about it. I can get one for £120 which seems a really good price (I know they're discontinued now), but it seems to have all I need and comes with full manufacturers warranty. I can buy a North America map for £55.25 which makes the whole system a good buy (I think!!!!!).

I'd love to know your thoughts before I buy.

This is the model we have Sue and we have had no problems. It does everything we want it to and that is a lot less than we paid for ours two years ago. We also have the US map but for the whole of the US as when we bought that one, it was the only one available.

Just one thing to be aware of - make sure you take the correct charger with you when you go to Florida. On our last visit we mistakenly took our mobile phone charger and tried for two weeks to buy one for the Tom Tom without success.

We've had a TT300 since they first came out, and we wouldn't be without it.

It's saved our bacon so many times, and as Pat says, does everything you need a Sat Nav to do. We too have USA maps on a separate SD card, and that affords you so much freedom just being able to drive with the confidence of knowing that you will never get lost. As a result we seen so much more of the "real" Florida than we ever thought we would.

If it seems to be a legit deal, I would say grab it with both hands.
