Insect bites............whats your cure?

We have just come back from TENERIFE and someone told us to put toothpaste on the bite not tried it but it is worth trying .

I always get bitten when I go away mainly by the dreaded mosquitoes. I would recommend using lemon source shower gel for 1 mth before you go they don't like the smell of lemon and the scent stayes on your skin. Tesco's sell it and Asda I think under £2 well worth it.

Nothing beats Skin so soft oil -I use the dry oil spray as an aftersun - forgot it on last trip, was covered in bites- went to Avon at the Loop and got some body lotion straight away.
Toothpaste is good to put on a bite to dry it and numb it a little I have heard also.
